Activities

Snorkeling

Although the snorkeling is great at a number of the other beaches on the island, we're especially lucky to have what is considered some of the best snorkeling "right at our doorstep" in Mahoe Bay. The variety of sea life and the tranquillity of the reef combine to make it a memorable experience for beginner and veteran alike. (Be sure to keep an eye out for the resident Hawksbill seaturtles!)

Beach

Take in a couple of sets of tennis at the Mahoe Bay Tennis Courts, just a three minute walk from the villa. Further from home, you can find tiny secluded beaches all your own - visit The Baths with its giant boulders forming magical pools and caves - go shelling along the white sand beaches or stroll along the Spanish Town Marina with its luxury yachts from around the world- sample the island's many fine restaurants (one of which is just a short ramble along the beach at Mahoe Bay) - go hiking and climb Gorda Peak - ferry over to St. Thomas or Tortola for lunch and a day's shopping- explore the ruins of old sugar mills.

Water fun

Try your hand at water-skiing, wind surfing , parasailing, or rent a boat and sail the waters the pirates made famous from Tortola to "The Dogs" and beyond. (All can be arranged through nearby Leverick Bay Resort.) There are a host of places to anchor, plenty of fascinating harbors and coves to explore and a wealth of spots for swimming, fishing, diving, snorkeling, or simply basking in the sun!
